My wife lives at Sunny vista. Sunny Vista is an excellent and well-cared for facility; the management and staff are extremely responsive to needs. Daily life has been pleasing to my wife. she has made a few friends there. Mealtimes are a real community experience and a time when we get to meet relatives of other residents. ACtivities have been engaging for her and at times the highlight of her day. One of the two activities directors leads residents playing memory games on a seventy-five-inch touchscreen computer they have. I haven't seen this at other facilities.
Our mom recently moved into the Retreat with fear and reservation. It has only been just over a week and our mom is so happy with both the people and the place. The staff are sincere, thoughtful, flexible and fun! The food is amazing. The residents are welcoming and engaging. Everyone here is truly a gift. This is a real community.
