How Does The Living Center Enrich The Life Of Your Loved One? With Individual Care
At The Living Center, our staff is there to help every member of our community with their daily tasks. Our caring staff is also well-versed in caring for residents who are living with the medical conditions that older adults face.
Our rehabilitation and skilled nursing staff work with our outside healthcare partners to provide the kind of individualized care that ensures every member of The Living Center community stays on the road to recovery.
Residents of Sunny Vista can get either long-term care and short-term rehab, depending on their needs. Long-term care is designed for individuals who have chronic illnesses, disabilities, or functional limitations that make it difficult for them to live independently. The goal of long-term care is to provide ongoing support and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility. It focuses on maintaining the person’s quality of life and providing a supportive environment for their long-term needs.
Short-term rehab, also known as rehabilitative care or subacute care, is a more focused and intensive form of care aimed at helping individuals recover from an illness, injury, surgery, or hospital stay. The goal of short-term rehab is to restore the person’s physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to a level where they can safely return home or transition to a lower level of care. Short-term rehab usually ranges from a few days to several weeks, depending on the individual’s condition and their progress toward recovery.
