Virus Virus Baby – PPE Mask Up Challenge Video
Amid one of the most challenging years we’ve faced in recent memory, we decided to get funky with our residents for our #wecarewewear MaskUp challenge!
Once the video camera came out, our residents put on their dancing shoes! We all had some fun being creative and re-dubbing a previously re-dubbed song; the result was Virus Virus Baby.
Our Assisted Living and Memory Support residents received some extra exercise with their dancing and helped to display and convey the importance of properly wearing PPE. Our male resident who helped sing lead just turned 100 this last July!
We at The Retreat feel this was a fun example of how we can help make life enriching, purposeful, and promote activity and inclusion to combat the stigma of senior living at this time.
